Distance Learning Spotlight - Flat Teachers!
Hillside Kindergarten teachers came up with an idea to recreate a game they would play in their classrooms. Teachers mailed “flat teachers” using Bitmoji Images to their students. Then, as Kindergarten teacher Chrys Haldeman explains,
“We created a game that they can play using the same flat teacher images. It is a re-imagining of a game we play in the classroom. The kids use patterns on a path to try to get the teachers to school. Some of the patterns work, and some don't, and some may or may not work, depending on the choices they make on the path. The game can be played digitally using PowerPoint or printed at played on paper.”
Just another great example of TEEA members going above and beyond to reach the students of our district. Thank you to our Hillside Kindergarten teachers for finding ways to engage our youngest students while distance learning!
